Based on the Divine Proportion (also known as the Golden Mean) these impressive candles are designed as a set of three. The repetition of proportion between each size gives an innate harmony to the group, a device used widely in architecture, particularly during the Renaissance.
Texture is the dominant feature of these monoliths, the wax taking on a rock-like finish. It is a slow, almost meditative experience to watch the wax bubble and froth up the sides of the mould, giving each candle its own unique character.
