Cathie lives in the beautiful mid coast of NSW, Australia and creates artworks with a variety of mediums. Her education in art has been self-directed, with the undeniable influences of fellow inspiring artists.
By exploring the concept of the earth’s surface in a nostalgic way, she investigates the dynamics of our environment and manipulates its effects to create a sometimes altered meaning.
Her works often reference recognisable form although some works are deconstructed to the extent that meaning is shifted and possible interpretation becomes multifaceted.
